Just bought this netbook, and when I booted it up for the first time an error message popped up. The error message said it wasn't able to connect to a disc and to push Ctrl-Alt-Del when the disc was properly connected. Since then, I've always had to push Ctrl-Alt-Del in order to start up the computer. It's quite a hassle.

However, the computer starts up quickly. For those who are familiar with Windows Vista, Windows 7 is very similar. The netbook runs very quietly, and the keyboard is big enough to type accurately with. However, the touchpad took me a while to get used to, as there is only one button to click. I didn't have trouble watching any videos on YouTube and am overall very satisfied with the product.

For a netbook that was under $300, I'd definitely recommend this one to my friends!

Not one to usually do reviews, although I read them alot. In anycase, got this netbook for some travelling coming up and email/web browsing around the house and so far I am really happy with my purchase! It is light, compact, looks great, super quiet, not hot on my lap, crisp screen image, speedy performance (even when I open memory hogs like MS OFFICE)and gets me 6+ hours on the full power setting - - - and all in all pretty much does everything my desktop does - but very portable!

The keyboard does take a little getting use to but only causes a couple of missed keys . . .very minor and just the tradeoff you make to get the form factor. The OS is basic but does the trick, and seems to be pretty stable. Not really sure what everyone is bitching about . . .think that some people just like to pick everything apart and find fault with something.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a machine that does all the basics at a great price (i mean come on under $300 you can not beat that). Can not think about what else I would ask for out of a netbook.

Just got this today- haven't used it yet but right off I'm very upset that the battery sticks way out- is NOT AT ALL like the picture. It is round and increases the thickness of the netbook to well over an inch. The only way it could possible look like the photos is if they had a cover that went over the battery compartment when the battery was not attached. After having a regular laptop with a battery that sticks way out and gets caught on everything, definitely not psyched about this and especially the misleading and WRONG photos.

There is a paucity of documentation with this computer. I also purchased a 2GB Ram, planning to
install it myself, but there is no information provided to guide me. This is very disappointing!
It makes me question the wisdom of making a purchase
on-line rather than at a local store which could offer technical support.

The computer itself is quite satisfactory, although
I'm having trouble getting used to the touchpad.
