I have an Acer Aspire One D150 - and have just updated it to Windows 7, however, after downloading the updated drivers from the Acer website - i notice that there are three different drivers for the built-in Crystal Eye webcam - how can I find out which one I need to use when all I can find out about it is that it is called “Acer Crystal Eye”.

Also, before I download the drivers, Windows isn’t even recognising that the camera even exists, it is not even listed in the Device Manager as no drivers installed, how do I fix this?
In response to me.its68: Actually you are incorrect. Device Manager should show a device there whether or not drivers are installed - if no drivers are there it would have an warning symbol (cross, exlamation mark etc.) next to it.

However, it is not showing anything at all, which is odd as it is a built-in device.

Uninstall all the driver which you have loaded, First the device need to be recognised by the laptop.
Once the hardware recognised then you can go for driver installation. If the hardware is not recognised it wont be reflecting in Device manager
