Set both phones to synchronize with www.phonecopy.com and your problem is solved. Also you can get access to your contacts via web browser. I am using it for more than three years and i am satisfied.

You could use your sim card to do this but it will take some time. A sim card can only hold 250 numbers. Email addresses and other contact info will not be transferred over. Just save the contacts to the sim in the Nokia and then put the sim into your 8310. Then copy from sim to phone using the menu option on the 8310.

Another way you can do it yourself would be downloading them onto your computer and then uploading them to your phone.

The easiest way would be to just take them to your local cell store. They have a machine that will transfer the contacts over for you. I do this several times a day for customers and it takes 5-10 mins once I sit down to do it.
