I have an IBM thinkpad 560 that only has an external floppy drive but my computer doesn’t have a floppy drive. Is there any way to connect them?
The laptop doesnt have a usb port it has a small door on the side with a port that the external floppy connects to.
I have no idea what the second response means!?

Does you external floppy drive connect to your laptop’s USB? If not, you can purchase an external case for your floppy that does, check Directron.com. Then you just plug it in to your desktop’s USB.

    does it have ehternet?

If so then get a crossover cat5 cable and connect the two and enable SMB sharing on both to share files.
