how do i connect my sandisk sansa clip to my computer?

i have a 2GB sansa sandisk clip, a pink one. doesnt seem to work when i connect it to the UBS cord. it says on my mp3 it is connecting.. and writing… and it even ‘dings’ when i connect it. but i cant put songs on it if it isnt familiar on my computer!

    I would ask the technical support for help (best buy) cuz I got one and it sorta did the same thing, I couldn’t add songs.. So i would just call them If I were you..

    I have a Sansa Clip too, and this has never happened to me. Maybe you can try making sure that the cord is connected correctly. If it doesn’t respond, you should try opening it manually in My Computer. If it says that it it “writing,” it’s probably syncing, so you should wait and see what happens when it is done.
