I am trying to either attach the GPS unit to the dash board or to the Windshield but neither are working.
The suction mount (blue part) goes to the window but how do you get it to stick/stay. When I clamp down on the lever it does not secure.
When I try to use the adhesive on the dash, does the mounted blue part discussed above come off somehow?

sounds like the suction is warped slightly. when you clamp it down it leaks the air out. i would get a bean bag mount. just make sure that the application is very clean and that you fully depress on the suction cup while locking the clip down. if that doesn’t work then it’s defective.
