    The subsidy code is put in by Motorola for the Provider. You can call tech support and ask them if they will give you the unlock code. I have called T-Mobile 12 times for unlock codes for 12 phones and they emailed them to me. I now have Prepaid and had to go to a telephone store to have it done. Cost: $15.00, it took 5 minutes.
