I'm not sure about thread texting, I cannot find anything about changing the texting ring tone. I love it except for the texting ringtone part. So I Don't know a whole lot. But it is touch screen on the front. Like to Dial and text but the screen on the front is very small So far there are not problems with mine. But starting out it's a bit confusing but like any phone I don't know if there is thread texting or if you can set a ringtone for a text I don't think so. But I think the phone is pretty good. I like it. And Im sure you would too. I just got i about 2 hours ago.
