Nokia 5140i

I don’t have any connection cable.

Can I do it by e-mail using Yahoo Mail. What settings do I need to put in the mobile?

You can either email the photos to Yahoo Mail, your mobile service provider will install the setting in your mobile. Or you can send them directly to your PC through a data cable.

when you have the picture up ,click on options and there should be a link ….e.mail to ,put your e.mail addy and send ,it takes about 15 mins to get to your in box,or you can buy a dongle and send it via blue tooth, theyre not expensive !

Well in order for you to email them..

Do you have a pop3 on your yahoo mail? That’s the mobile settings on yahoo..

    And thy charge for pop3..

    Just a thought..

But sure you can email them.. If you have pop3 service.

Other than that! all I can think off is USB connect, or if the 5140i has bluetooth..

if u hav bluetooth then u can send to ur pc easily by sending photos to any of ur frnds having nokia with datacable.or u can use SMSBackup service from Yahoomail.just check yahoomail for that.I think this is enough.

Best get a USB data cable. These are available for this phone for under 10 pounds.

Your best bet is to get a CA-42 Data cable for your phone.
I just got one for my daughters phone from 4mobiles.co.uk for £8.69 including postage and packing and it works fine.
The proper Nokia original cable is !! £30.00 + £4,99 postage and packing from the nokia web site.
If you do buy one don’t bother with the CD and the software just download the latest one from the Nokia site and that includes the driver for the cable. If you do install from the CD you end up having to update it all from Nokia anyway.
Trying to do it all by email would turn out to be expensive and involve data charges if you get a data cable then you can backup your phone, save contacts, edit contacts and much more.
