How to reset my security lock code for my LG Tritan?

I changed my security lock code when i got my LG Tritan cell phone like a month ago and made it lock when it turned on, and i restarted my phone, forgetting about the lock code, and now its locked and I cannot remember the code! we tried taking it into the U.S. Cellular store, which is our carrier, but they can’t retrieve it for some reason! GRRRR. please help! is there any way I can reset it or something? please please please help. thanks.

    I HAVE A LG TRITAN UX840 THAT IS LOCKED AND ISNTLETTING ME PUT IN MY UNLOCK CODE. KEEPS SAYING THAT IT IS INCORRECT.
