How well will my acer aspire one use vista?

It has a 120 gb external hard drive, and 8 gb flash internal drive, will vista run smoothly and are there all the drivers for the acer aspire one?

    Vista from an external drive is not going to be a picnic (the USB 2.0 interface is too slow for this). I recommend buying an internal drive for XP if you want to run it…. or are you running XP on the internal SSD?

    Either way, XP runs great on these things. I’ve got one right here points.

    I believe that you won’t be able to run Vista on that version of the One. Your OS needs to be on the internal drive and I think your version only has 512MB of RAM. Some have pulled it off on the Aspire One AOA 150 that has the internal 160GB HD.
    There is a forum where you can pick up a lot of information and I would start there.
