Having been previously turned off by the cumbersome interface on the Squuezebox Boom, I have to say the Squeezebox Radio is a 180 degree turn for Logitech. With it's bright, easy to read screen and easy to use controls, set-up is a snap and navigation is light years easier. Sound quality is, while admittedly limited coming from a relatively small speaker, is still excellent for the size of the device.

If I have one complaint is that it doesn't have stereo out jackes (it does have a 3.5 mm mono jack); while I understand that it isn't designed to fulfill a role as a home entertainment system component, it's certainly powerful enough to do so. Other than that, I have no complaints -- The Squeezebox Radio is a good looking, easy to use device at a competitive price point.

I recomend this fantastic internet radio by logitech, mainly for Napster, Last.fm subscribers. Beasides that, a lot of nice apps like Sirus, Facebook, etc. It's easy to use and the sound is outstanding for the small measures of the device.

At first I thought this radio was great. The setup process was simple for both the radio and and the wireless portion of my D-Link router. The radio even automatically updated the firmware during the setup process. Creating a Favorites list was easy and there are a lot of stations from which to select though the Radiotime service via mysqueezebox.com. I never experienced a dropped signal while receiving a broadcast stream nor while switching from station to station.

However, NEVER are any of the "alarm sounds" played when I use this radio as an alarm clock. I selected radio stations from the Favorites list for the alarm sounds, but the backup alarm (an annoying beeping sound) is ALWAYS played instead. I bought this radio primarily for the alarm, to have it connect to various stations at various times and days of the week. From what I am reading on the support forums, I am not alone with this problem. The radio's firmware is buggy and should never have been released in this state.

Go ahead and buy this radio if all you want is a Wi-Fi radio; but if you want an alarm clock too, be prepared to go out spend an extra $5. for a real one and tape it to the top. Now I'm stuck with a radio I purchased as a Christmas gift over 30 days ago and it's too late for a refund. Instead it got packed back into its box and sent to the attic while I do research on a replacement.

At first I hated this radio because it didn't have FM/AM. Its just stupid not to, plus I have a FM transmitter so I can get Sirius on all my stereo equipment! But I got over that. I got a sirius internet account, and was fairly happy for about a week or so.

But now, every time I listen to sirius radio, it plays for about 5-10 minutes and then the sound goes dead and the radio reboots! It does it every time u turn it on. I've had it do it a dozen times in a row. WTF!!!!!
