Get the exact model of the modem. IBM might not have the driver, but I bet another manufacturer has it.

If the IBM site says in the specs XX V.90 modem search 
for that modem chip mfg. Odds are they have it.

Example: An asus motherboard with a silicon image sata onboard, but no 2k driver on the site. Go to the CHIP maker site, and get the driver.
