Without question, the best solution is to use bluetooth to do this. Bluetooth is a method of communicating between devices (computers, mobiles, PDAs and such) without the need for wires. This is good for the main reason of versatility. For example, if invest in a cable to connect your Nokia phone to your computer, that means you can only use that model of phone to talk to your computer. So if you have pictures or music on your computer and you decided to buy a new Samsung and you want to transfer your music from your computer to your Samsung but only have the Nokia cable, you'll have to buy a different cable for your Samsung. Not versatile. Bluetooth doesn't care what phone you have, you can still transfer data to any device without buying cables. The only condition is that the device must be bluetooth ready. The Nokia 5140i has Bluetooth built into the phone so it's ready and waiting to be used. Your computer may or may not. You'll have to check your manual. If it doesn't you'll need to buy a 'usb bluetooth dongle' available for about £10 - £20 if you have a PC. If you have a Mac, it should have bluetooth built in. Once you have your bluetooth on both phone and computer, you'll need to 'pair' the devices together. This essentially introduces the phone to the computer. The instruction manual for your phone and computer will tell you how to do this. It's really very simple and you only have to do this once, so don't worry. Once that's done, go into your phone's gallery, select the picture(s) you want to transfer, select the 'options' button and choose 'send as bluetooth'. Your phone will search for any bluetooth devices it sees, you then select the device you want to receive the pictures (in this case, your computer) and click 'ok'. The file is then sent, your computer will ask you to confirm that you want receive the picture(s), you say 'ok' and the job is done. Easy. Now for the MMS problem. The easiest way to activate your MMS is to create a text that says: picon and send it to: 21400 You may receive some text messages from O2 with instructions. Just follow them and then your MMS will be ready to use withing 48 hours. You can then send picture and video messages to your hearts content.
