I’ve heard somewhere that Alltel deliberately disabled custom ringtones. I’ve also heard that it’s possible to either override, circumvent, or just plain disable that protection. The question is, how?

Is that correct or does someone out there know how to do it? I know you can send to compatible phones but that doesn’t help when the person you want to send it to doesn’t have a compatible phone. I know if you go to blackberry app world you can get a bunch of ringtones, but they aren’t like actual songs or songs that are popular like a lot of people have for their ringtones. How do I get actual songs for my ringtone on my blackberry?
