<description>The card worked fine. I was worried at first because Win 7 gave it a rating performance score of 1 and 1 on the two video options, but as soon as I installed the drivers it went up to 4.9 and 4.7. I am using it in the low profile form and as such it requires two drive bays for me to use the VGA out port which is why I only gave it 4 stars. The video was very nice on it, I don't play high performance games, but for watching Fancast, youtube, or other streamed video it works very nicely. I did notice my CPU fan running more after the card was installed, but was unsurprised as the card is fanless and my case is small (Gateway E4300 business machine). To combat this I felt the top of the case and could feel that it was rather warm above the heatsink (again not surprised) So I pulled the panel off the computer and drilled a series of small holes in the case just above the heatsink and now a nice gentle breeze comes out my newly created heat vent and everything actually runs cooler than it did prior to the card so I am happy. Why am I happy with all that hassle? Because upgrades to these small form factor machines can be difficult to even find, so when I find something that works and provides a significant upgrade I am very happy. I wouldn't recommend this card for a full size desktop that has an adequete power supply as there are many superior cards for similar amounts of money. For my app it's great though

<description>I bought one of these puppies, and it was a major disaster... but in the weirdest way. Video was fine, as far as I used it. But every time something moved on the screen, it would make squeeks, squawks and bleeps in the audio. Move the mouse pointer? Screeeee! Progress bar? Chchchhhhh! I never dared watch a movie or play a game. It probably would have blown my speakers. RMA, please!!!
