Transfering SMS messages from an old Nokia 6300 to a new Nokia E71?

Can anyone tell me if this is possible? I’m planning to buy a new Nokia E71 but i need to know if there’s a way how i can transfer my sms messages stored in my current NOKIA 6300.

Please be very detailed in terms of which software to use or what method to use.

    I would recommend a free online service like Zyb — see link #1 below. It will upload your 6300 messages to its servers, then download them to your new E71.

    Once that’s done I’d recommend backing up your texts locally to your computer with a free app for S60 handsets — see link #2.

    Enjoy your E71, it’s a great handset — I’ve one myself 8-)

    Maybe with Nokia’s PC Suite application which features a backup application which back ups SMS messages as well. Then you could download them into the new Nokia.
